Description
An elegant antique three-light inverted dome chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s, and found in a home in Charleston, SC. The chandelier begins with an understated brass canopy from which three chains descend to support the bowl-shaped glass shade below. The shade features a beautiful painted rose motif and lovely relief detailing; the painted detailing has been applied to the inside of the shade, which gives the design a softer look (as pictured). The light fixture is in very good antique condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected aging and fleabites around the edges. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The shade measures 13-3/4” in diameter, 8-1/4” tall, and the fixture is approx. 29” long overall.
