Description
A stunning antique three-light Neoclassical chandelier, dating from the early 1900s and featuring its original acid cut back glass shade. This beautiful antique glass was produced by the remarkable process of etching away glass with hydroflouric acid to create designs in relief. This inverted dome chandelier begins with an understated canopy from which three chains come down to support the elegant shade below; the original shade features a fabulous acid etched Greek-key design. This light fixture is in very good condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the rim (pictured). The light measures 17-1/2″ wide and 28″ long overall.
