Description
A beautiful antique bronze three-light chandelier, originally gas and now completely wired for electricity, and salvaged out of a home in Massachusetts. Dating from the late 19th Century, the chandelier retains the graceful character of its original gas-lighting design, with a tall central stem, finely pierced and embellished central body, scrolling arms, and delicate foliate accents throughout. Each arm curves outward to support a frosted glass shade with a softly flared form and etched botanical decoration. This light fixture is in excellent condition with the expected wear and a beautiful aged finish; the shades are also in very good condition with just the expected chips and fleabites around the rims (as pictured). The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures approximately 24-1/2” wide (shade to shade) by 34” long overall.
