An amazing antique five-light Spanish Revival chandelier with shield details, dating from the 1920’s, and found in a home in Charleston, SC. This iron chandelier begins with a decorative canopy that comes down in chain to a curling loop finial. Below, a cluster of five curled iron bands descend to form the chandelier body and extend outwards to become the chandelier arms ending with leafy bobeches. The bands are connected by cast iron crests, each surrounded by hammered volute detail. The chandelier finishes in a dangling finial featuring a crest. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20″ wide and 21-1/2″ tall, and the fixture is 40″ long overall.
