A beautiful antique brass five-light chandelier with prisms, dating from the early 1900’s and found in a home in Chicago, IL. The chandelier begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to a sleek loop finial and open upper body made up of thick brass decorative bands. Five smooth U-shaped arms curl out from below the lamp body, each one ending in a bobeche hung with a curtain of sparkling icicle prisms. This light fixture is in good condition with a beautifully aged finish and has a hairline crack in the brass of the body, as pictured. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18-1/2” wide and 23-3/4” tall, and the fixture is 38-1/4” long overall.
