A substantial antique cast bronze twelve light chandelier with its original prisms, dating from the 1870’s and salvaged out of a home in New York. This chandelier begins with an elegant canopy that comes down in chain to a loop finial and leafy platform. Below, the chandelier body features a whimsical design of stylized flowers, sparkling pendalogue prisms, and swirling volutes; twelve U-shaped arms curl outward from the bottom of the lamp body to support decorative two-part bobeches. This light fixture is in excellent condition with one small hairline crack on the canopy (pictured); it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 33-1/2” wide and 36-1/2” tall, and the fixture is 62” long overall.
