A striking vintage chandelier with prisms, dating from the early 1900s. The fixture begins with a decorative canopy that comes down in chain to meet a central stem wrapped in leaves and scrolling foliate arms. The open body is hung with faceted clear prisms — teardrops, ovals, and strands of beaded chain — that cascade from the upper arms and gather in a dense fringe below. The light finishes with a single faceted crystal ball suspended beneath. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and has been professionally rewired with all necessary attachments for modern installation.
