A lovely antique schoolhouse light, dating from the early 1900 and found in a home in Atlanta, Georgia. The pendant light begins with an understated darkened brass canopy that comes down in chain to a fitter and sleek glass schoolhouse globe below. The globe has a stylized Greek key design around its perimeter and ends with a nice tassel finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The light fixture measures 16-1/4” wide, 17” tall (body only), and 36-1/2” long overall.
