A striking pair of antique cast iron exterior sconces, dating from the early 1900’s, and found in a home in Arlington, VA. Each sconce features a square, cast iron backplate that extends from its center into a single arm; the arm reaches out to support a sleek white globe above an elongated and pointed finial below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; the shades are also in excellent condition with the expected fleabites around the rims. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 15” tall, the back plate is 5-1/4” wide, and they project 9-5/8” from the wall; the glass globes measure 6″ in diameter.
