Lovely pair of antique single-arm sconces in their original aged brass finish, found in a home in Des Moines, IA dating circa 1920. Each sconce features a crest-shaped hammered backplate with a roped border. A smooth sconce arm extends from the center of the backplate to support a foliate bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 4-1/4” wide, 7-3/4” tall, and have a projection of 5-5/8”.
