Gorgeous pair of antique single-arm sconces with glass shades, c. 1905, salvaged from Indianapolis, IN. Each silver plate sconce features an oval backplate from which a scrolling s-shaped arm extends out to support the white glass shade. The sconce pair is in very good antique condition with some stress cracks and dents (pictured); the shades are also in good condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the rim. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 9” wide overall (including shade), approx. 9” tall, and has a projection of 14”; the back plate measures 4-1/8″ wide by 6-1/2″ tall.
