A beautiful pair of double-arm Neoclassical sconces, dating from the 1920s, and found in a home in Peoria, IL. Each backplate features textured roundel in its center with a foliate flourish acting as a “flame” from its top; the backplate is bordered in foliates and berries and is backed with amber mica. Two curling sconce arms affix to the middle of the plate and extend outward to support leafy candle cups. These wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 9-1/2” wide, 12-5/8″ tall and projects 5-1/4” from the wall.
