Superb pair of antique sconces in cast bronze by E. F. Caldwell, dating between 1905-1910, and found in a home in Pittsburgh, PA. These double-arm sconces feature a gadrooned, Sheffield style, backplate crowned with a sleek circular finial. Two, volute detailed, sconce arms extend from the bottom of the backplate, each ascending to support beautifully cast wax pans and candle cups. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 14” tall, 10” wide, and project 5″ from the wall.
