A marvelous pair of antique Adam style double-arm sconces, salvaged out of a home in Vicksburg, MS, and dating from the early 1900’s. Each silver plate sconce features a back plate adorned with flowing bellflowers and crowned by a stylized urn. Two s-shaped arms extend upwards from the center of the back plate to support leafy bobeches and gadrooned candle cups. These wall lamps are in excellent antique condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce is 8-3/4” wide, 18” tall, and projects 4-1/2” from the wall.
