A stunning antique marble column, dating from the 1880’s, and reclaimed from a commercial building in Philadelphia, PA. The beautifully carved column is incised with diagonal, grooved lines creating a swirling effect around the perimeter of the column; the top and bottom are ornamented with thick bands of lush, curling acanthus leaves. It would be fantastic converted into a newel post or as a decorative piece for your garden or interior space. The column is in very good condition with the expected wear and measures 10-5/8″ wide and 52-1/2″ tall. This piece requires a custom shipping quote, please contact us if you’re interested.
