A beautiful antique fireplace tile surround by Maw & Co. at their Benthall Works in Broseley, Shropshire, England.

This charming tile surround is comprised of warm terracotta-colored tiles, each decorated with an intricate raised floral and botanical design of delicate stems, leaves, buds, and stylized blossoms. The repeating panels create an elegant and cohesive frame, while the rich earthen coloration and dimensional relief give the surround wonderful depth and character.

A lovely example of the decorative tilework for which Maw & Co. was renowned, this surround would make a stunning addition to an antique or period-inspired interior.

This tile surround is in very good antique condition, with minor fleabites around the edges (as pictured). The outer/overall measurements are approximately 30-1/4″ wide, 30-1/4″ tall and each individual tile measures approx. 6-1/8″ square. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR THE SET OF 13 TILES.
