Description
A striking pair of antique double-arm sconces in cast bronze, salvaged from a home in Pennsylvania, and made and signed by renowned maker, E.F Caldwell. Dating from 1910, each sconce features a torch-shaped back plate crowned by an urn with foliate flourishes; two smooth arms flank the backplate and extend upwards to support two-part bobeches hung with their original crystal “spear” prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent antique condition with a gorgeously aged patina; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce is 14†tall, 9-1/2†wide, and projects 4-1/2†from the wall.
