A stunning pair of antique Neoclassical gilt bronze sconces, dating from the early 1900’s, and found in a home in Chicago, IL. Each figural sconce features a long backplate with a stylized woman’s face at its center; above, the backplate is crowned with a fancifully knotted ribbon. Slender fluted arms curl out from the center of the backplate to support coordinating bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 11-1/2″ wide, 18-3/4″ tall, and project 5″ from the wall.
