A fantastic antique five-light figural chandelier, dating from the 1920’s and signed S&P MFG Co. This Spanish Revival chandelier begins with a crenelated canopy, descending in chain to meet the open chandelier body below. Curling bands form the chandelier body, of which are interspersed with medallions ornamented with conquistador motifs, emphasized by original polychrome detailing. Five arms curl out from the body to each support a downward-facing exposed bulb. The light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 20-1/2” wide, 21-1/2” tall, and 37-1/4” tall overall.
