Description
An impressive antique six-light cast iron chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s and found in a home in Nashville, TN. The fixture begins with an understated canopy that comes down in rectangular chain to a small platform. From the platform, four chains descend to support the thick ring style body below, embellished with a pie-crust edge; six lights in spiked bobeches sit perched around the perimeter of the hammered ring. The simplicity of this fixture would lend it to work with Tudor, Spanish Revival, or Gothic Revival homes. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 27″ by 39″ wide, 33″ tall, and is 49-1/4″ long overall. Due to the size of this fixture, it requires a custom shipping quote; please contact us if you have any questions.
