Fantastic antique pendant light with its original glass shade, dating from the early 1900s and found in a home in Charleston, SC. The Neoclassical light begins with an elegant canopy with three hooks; three chains descend from the hooks to support an urn shaped body and glass shade below. The white glass shade is ornamented with a flowing design of stylized grapes and foliates; The chandelier is in very good condition with a small chip on the glass shade (as pictured). It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This light fixture measures 8-1/4″ wide, 12″ tall (top of the shade to the bottom of the finial), and is 23″ long overall.
