Description
A gorgeous antique five-light brass chandelier, dating from the 1920s and found in a home in Charleston, SC. This light fixture begins with an understated canopy that comes down in a chain to a loop finial and baluster-shaped body below. Five scrolling arms curl out from the body to support downward-facing bobeches; each bobeche is hung with a curtain of sparkling “icicle” prisms. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish and some minor dents, which do not detract from the beauty of the fixture (pictured). It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 17″ wide and 17-1/2″ tall, and the fixture is 35-5/8″ long overall. A coordinating chandelier can be found under product code NC4814-RW.
