Handsome antique Arts & Crafts lantern, suitable for either interior or exterior use, with slag glass and a marvelous copper wash over cast iron patina. Dating from the early 1900s, this pendant light begins with an understated canopy, moving down in unique chain to a sloped roof. The three sided lantern body features a streamlined framework which creates a cross-like design against its original slag glass panes. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The lantern body is 7-1/2” wide, 10-3/8” tall, and the fixture is 20-1/2” long overall.
