A graceful antique Neoclassical silver plate four-light chandelier with prisms, dating from the early 1900’s and found in a home in Boston, MA. The chandelier begins with an understated canopy that comes down in chain to a sleek loop finial and urn-shaped body hung with a a curtain of sparkling icicle prisms. Four smooth U-shaped arms curl out from below the lamp body, each one ending in an elegant bobeche hung with coordinating icicle prisms. This light fixture is in very good condition with a beautifully aged finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19” wide across (14″ square) and 13-1/4” tall, and the fixture is 23-1/4” long overall.
