Description
A substantial antique cast iron chandelier with mica, salvaged out of St. Louis, MO and dating c. 1910. This chandelier begins with an understated canopy, coming down in a chain to a stylized loop finial with leafy detailing. Below, the chandelier features a circular body with scrolling foliate motifs and amber mica inserts. Four arms curl out from the perimeter of the lamp body to support coordinating bobeches, and four lights illuminate the mica from within the fixture. The light fixture is in excellent antique condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 17-1/4” wide, 30-1/2″ long, 35-1/4“ tall, and the fixture is 60″ tall overall.
