An incredible antique inverted dome chandelier with figural details, dating from the 1900s, and by Handel. This light fixture begins with an understated canopy, descending in chain to meet a volute loop finial; the finial perches above a baluster with a gadrooned bottom. The baluster attaches to a simple framework which supports a band ornamented with beautifully cast leaf masks and wave scroll detail; the ring holds the fixture’s decorative white glass shade. This rare light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges and a few scuffs which do not detract from the beauty of the light (as pictured). It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 14-1/4″ in diameter, 15-1/2″ tall, and 32″ long overall.
