Description
Striking antique figural double-arm sconce pair, dating from the early 1900’s, and salvaged out of a home in Chicago, IL. Each sconce’s porthole-like backplate is crowned with a beautifully cast eagle; the backplate features a domed and aged mirror in its center. Two, smooth U-shaped arms descend from a leafy base at the bottom of the backplate and extend to support foliate bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; their mirrors do have some age spots/streaks (as pictured). They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 8-3/4” wide, 11″ tall, and project 4-1/2” from the wall.
