Description
This beautiful wall-mounted “Brainard” console sink in the enchanting Rose Du Barry color was salvaged from the historic “Windsor” home—also known as the Castle Above the Clouds—perched atop Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. Built in the 1930s by George and Elizabeth Scholze, the residence reflects the couple’s refined taste and attention to detail. George Scholze, second-generation owner of the prominent Scholze Tannery in Chattanooga, helped earn the city its nickname, “Saddle Capital of the World.”
The sink remains in very good condition with only minimal wear (as shown), and still retains several of its original, non-functioning antique plumbing fixtures. It measures 23-3/4″ wide, 33″ tall, and projects 23-3/4″ from the wall.
