Description

A breathtaking antique Louis XVI Dore gilt bronze chandelier, dating from the 19th Century. This three-light chandelier begins with an intricate canopy that comes down in chain to two tiers of stylized ribbons, each supporting sparkling icicle prisms. Below, the open lamp body features twisted bands and wonderful foliate details, all interspersed with icicle and pendalogue prisms. Three fluted arms adorned with leafy detailing curl upward to support incredible frosted flower shades. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the shades are in very good condition with the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 15” wide and 34-3/4” tall, and the fixture is 46” long overall.
